Katrina Smith
Katrina Smith was born prematurely on October 16, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her life took a spin, when she was nine months old. Ms. Smith suffered severe brain damage, to all of her brain because of someone driving drunk. Ms. Smith was placed in the hospital in the ICU; Her brain was damaged so bad that, she was in a coma. Doctors have said, that Ms. Smith would not live and if she did, she would remain a vegetable for the rest of her life. The damage that was done, to Ms. Smith brain has left her with, a learning disability. At times she has trouble with understanding sometimes, and she had Grand mal seizures, Hypothyroidism, and other medical condition caused by, the automobile accident. In despite of her disability. Ms. Smith has graduated from high school, and now currently going to college, to major in Early Childhood Education. While managing college Ms. Smith has a non profit talk show that, she is a host of calle “Living With”. The show is based on bring awareness to people with disabilities like, Ms.Smith herself. Ms. Smith is a head administrator of, a disability group, called “Disability Safe Haven” on Facebook. She is also a co administrator for multiple other disability group’s as well on Facebook. When Ms. Smith has spare time, she love to write poetry and play video games. Why of course go shopping.
Ms. Smith is also a blogger, for a mentoring blog called Girls Like Me INC. Girls Like Me INC., is a blog/ online magazine that provides positive images, for young girls ranging from eleven to eighteen years old. It holds inspiration, enrichment, and encouragement for young woman. Especially, for girls of eleven to eighteen years old. Ms. Smith duties as a blogger for Girls Like Me INC., is to provide healthy and easy recipes to prepare. Ms. Smith also has her own blog called “Living Better Café”, and “Living Better Café Presents…Coffee Talk”. She has built “Living Better Café”, to help people live inexpensively, while eating on a buget with, keeping food allergies at bay. Ms. Smith has created “Living Better Café Presents…Coffee Talk”, which is a web based talk show, and food resource blog. Living Better Café Presents…Coffee Talk, is for people to read more about, what they place into their mouths. Living Better Café Presents…Coffee Talk, is a more in-depth food resource, for people to read up about different foods. For instance, what to add into your diet and what to avoid.
